BANG! Flirtatious wins at her 2nd ever race start!

Wow, what a win by Flirtatious!

Flirtatious won at her second ever race start at Terang.

Yes it is a long way away from Melbourne, but it doesn't change the fact that she was impressive in her win against males in an Open 2yo Maiden over 1000m.

Flirtatious drew barrier 1, and ridden by Daniel Moor, she was pushed out of the barriers to be sitting just behind the leading bunch on the rails. She travelled quiet nicely for Daniel, and was waiting for his run once they turned into the straight. The leader shot 2 lengths clear at the top of the straight, and Daniel looking for a run, shot Flirtatious back to the rails and once she got balanced powered home to gather in the leader and win by 0.5 lengths, in the time of 57.51s on a track rated a Good (3).

We were expecting her to be doing her best work over the last 200m of the race, and she didn't let us down. There is no doubt she has ability, and she will be more suited as the distance of the races get longer.

This is exciting especially since Flirtatious is owned by the first ever all female Dream Girls syndicates.

Alot of our Dream Girls members are first time owners, and are now first time winners!!

Congratulations to all the Dream Girls, and we know there is much more fun in store for you all with Flirtatious!

Crack open a bottle of Pommery tonight, and enjoy you day in the sun!

Cheers
