Columbia storms home!

Columbia stormed home from the back of a big field today to win the $100K  BM75 Riziz Final over 1200m at Morphettville.

It was an exciting day of racing with Derby Day at Flemington, but it was Columbia’s win at Morphettville that had all the punters cheering.

Settled back early, Todd Pannell  rode patiently just allowing Columbia to find his feet, and get into a nice rhythm, at the back of the field but travelling well within himself.

Once they turned into the long Morphettville straight, Columbia hooked out wide and quickly made up lengths to challenge the leaders at the 150m and took over running away for a comfortable win, signalling better things to come.
