Star of Robiglen scored a dominant maiden win at the Gold Coast Polytrack today.
Ridden by young apprentice Jai Williams, he showed intent to lead after jumping away and crossed the field after the first 200m of the race.
He was then able to control the race from the front, and once he got around the final turn and balanced up, he was never in any danger to go on and win by 2.3 lengths on the post easing up.
He went into that race off one trial, so he has plenty of improvement to come, and a horse we can take through the grades this prep, with plenty of upside.
