Galactic Rock broke through for his first win at his 6th career start today at Murray Bridge.
He jumped away well and got himself forward quickly , and settled outside the leader. Once he straightened up for home down the long Murray Bridge straight, he took over the leader and was exposed along way from home, but he kicked clear and although he got tired very late , he was able to hold off the favourite’s late challenge.
A great training performance by Grant Young and well ridden by Stacey Metcalfe to earn the break through.
With natural improvement, we can see Rocky pick up one or two more before a break
