I Am Piki broke her maiden today at Mornington, leading all the way in the 3yo Maiden on Peninsula Cup Day.
Ethan Brown took the daughter of I Am Immortal to the lead early, and controlled the race.
She came under pressure rounding the final turn but she was able to fight off the challenger and was strong on the line winning by a length on the line.
It was a nice win by I Am Piki, and she looks a filly with plenty of promise, and can step up to city grade next start.
