I Am Piki had her first city win today at Murray Bridge with a strong performance in the Fillies & Mares 0-62 over 1200m
Jake Toeroek broke his whip in the barriers before the race, and elected to ride her without a whip.
She jumped out well, and settling into a beautiful trailing position behind the leading bunch, travelled into the race at the top of the straight and sprinted hard at the 200m to take the lead and hold his rivals in the run to the line!
That was Piki’s 3rd win from 15 starts and with 5 placings can build on her good record during the Autumn
