Shades of Sneaky!

Veyepee dominated on debut today at Geeling, leading from start to finish to win his debut maiden over 1440m.

In similar fashion to Mr Sneaky back in July 2016, who too led all the way on debut to win at Geelong, and go onto become our best Group performer to date!

Veyepee was the highest priced Russian Camelot colt purchased from the 2024 Melbourne Premier Yearling Sale, and out of a city winning Savabeel mare, he was a standout for our partnership with Lenny Russo of Bluegrass Bloodstock.

He was a colt with quality and carrying a triple cross of Sadler’s Well he looked a midde distance type for the future.

With the patience of trainers Anthony & Sam Freedman, he was given plenty of time before he was ready to debut today.

He was switched on in his last trial over 1200m by leading, and he took those tactics into today’s race, and was running away from his rivals at the finish today.

He looks a very promising type for the future, and hopefully he can climb to the the same heights of Mr Sneaky!
