Shredded Sprints Away!

Shredded won his 2nd race back to back off his maiden win at Ballina in early January.

Stepping up to Class 1 grade and rising to 60kgs, he started a short priced favourite again today at Murwillumbah.

Drawing barrier 1 he was expected to lead but was taken on early and jockey Andrew Mallyon dropped him in behind the speed, and got a lovely trail into the race.

He popped out to challenge 3 wide around the final turn, taking the lead at the top of the straight and raced away for an easy win.

He was more impressive today and up in class, and showed he was a horse with exciting potential.

He will rise again in class next start, but he has handled the class rise before, and can again!
